The St Luke Foundation informs all the local and international public that after 3 years of sacrifices in order to support the Manitane Institution of St Luke (APJ School) at 70% of an annual budget of approximately 1,300,000 USD for the benefit of the most needy students, its reserves are totally run out and its finds itself in circumstances beyond its control to adjust the school contributions of the pupils in the hope of allocating a considerable contribution (30%) to the budget of the running cost of the Academy.
Our friends and donors themselves are going through great difficulties in their country because of Covid-19 and, for three years, have been unable to support us even at 10% of the budget. We are aware of the bad impact of the adjustment decision on a fringe of the poorest community in Haiti, but we have no choice and cannot cease our activities as well as deprive the entire Haitian community of this excellent education in the metropolitan air of Port-au-Prince.
We are therefore counting on the understanding of all, both nationally and internationally, on this decision of last resort for the survival of our institutions and we also ask you to support us with your help in order to mitigate the negative repercussions of such alternatives.

La Fondation St Luke informe tout le public local et international qu'après 3 ans de sacrifices afin de soutenir ‘‘ l’Institution Manitane de St Luc / APJ '‘ à 70% d'un budget annuel d'environ 1 300 000 USD au profit des étudiants les plus nécessiteux, ses réserves sont totalement épuisées et elle se trouve dans des circonstances indépendantes de sa volonté pour ajuster les contributions scolaires des élèves dans l'espoir d'allouer une contribution considérable (30%) au budget des dépenses de fonctionnement du Centre.
Nos amis et donateurs eux-mêmes traversent de grandes difficultés dans leur pays à cause de la Covid-19 et, depuis trois ans, sont incapables de nous soutenir même à 10% du budget. Nous sommes conscients du mauvais impact de la décision d’ajustement des participations scolaires sur une frange de la communauté la plus pauvre d'Haïti, mais nous n'avons pas le choix et ne pouvons pas cesser nos activités caritatives ainsi que priver toute la communauté haïtienne de cette excellente éducation dans l’air metropolitaine de Port-au-Prince.
Nous comptons donc sur la compréhension de tous, tant au niveau national qu'international, sur cette décision de dernier recours pour la survie de nos institutions et nous demandons également de nous soutenir avec votre aide afin d'en atténuer les répercussions négatives d'une telle alternative.
