We remember Raphael Louigene today,One year since he died

and his tremendous friendship and engagement.

His heroism and courage and the richness he brought to our work and our lives.

He saved the lives of countless people in illness and peril.

We pray for his children and family and for all who deeply miss him.

May Raphael accompany us from the realms of glory as we continue the hard work God has entrusted to him.

Today the surgical center at St Luke Hospital will be renamed in his honor.

Rest in peace, brother and friend.
