What I do every day.....February 26, 2025
/I went after mass this morning to Tabarre 25 and 27 to see if any of the dead are still on the street
So I could take them to our morgue
The people have been taking their dead by wheelbarrow
Also from the killings at Delmas 30, many people are wheeling their dead.
Tabarre is normal this morning, like a schizophrenic country.
The streets have some activity though timid, schools are trying to open.
A neighboring gang published that they enjoyed their “visit” (massacre) to the people of Tabarre, as they ate fish and fries on the video.
The mayor of Port au Prince has published his opinion that the Viv Ansam gang coalition are not bandits. This is a world of bizarre narratives
There are two explanations for attack in Tabarre.
One has to do with revenge against the people for turning over a gang spy to the police.
The other has to do with trying to empty Tabarre 27 as part of the strategy to take the police station of Tabarre.
Many places around the city are under gang attack. The massacre at Delmas 30 was worse than Tabarre.
Things are unravelling fast, We pray to God for help for the people.
I was no sooner back from Tabarre 25, when we were called urgently to St Damien Hospital gate, where a huge Mack truck had run over a young man. Very fortunately for him, he was not killed or too badly wounded. He had multiple fractures of his left leg, and we got him rapidly to Doctors Without Borders here in Tabarre, since he was beyond the capacity of the St Luke Hospital team.
